Great tour with so much to see. Our driver Ong was a great guide and super friendly and would highly recommend. The temples were beautiful and the time on Penang Hill was amazing. You won't be disappointed. Thanks Ong!

Disappointing half day tour Unfortunately very let down by our guide whose English was very very difficult to understand at most times so we never felt like we got the most out of a tour which wasn't cheap There wasn't very clear timings given at each stop, which then did not help with the guide calling us each time to find out where we were, even though we asked each time how long we had Very rushed time at Kek Lok Si Temple which was disappointing Definitely recommend Penang Hill but more time here would be good

My tour ended up being a private tour experience with Azmel as my driver and guide. Azmel was super friendly, very knowledgeable and very respectful. Because it was just me, we were able to tailor the experience a bit more whereby I could determine the amount of time at each location. It was a great way to see some lovely temples and sites around Penang. Azmel shared a lot of information and history throughout the day. Highly recommended.

We would highly recommend this tour. It is a great way to see parts of Penang that are not easily accessible by foot. Mr Ong was a great guide. He was friendly and informative. His car was comfortable and air conditioned. The trip up to Penang Hill Station by funicular was particularly good and we would recommend The Habitat biosphere jungle walk up there. The Thai Buddhist temple was also particularly beautiful and restful. Thank you for a lovely day, Mr Ong.

Fantastic tour with a great guide - thanks Ronnie, your insights and knowledge and friendliness made this trip special. As well Ronnie adapted to come up with great special things (Great Samosa Tasting, Stop at the Jetty) to always give things additional insights and flavor.

We spent the day with Vejay. He picked us up at the port and we went directly to Penang Hill for the funicular ride up. We had the express pass but it still took 40 mins in the line. It is a very busy spot. We spent some time up in the hill and saw the temple but due to the long wait we didn’t have time to walk through the habitat. From there we visited the Kek Lok Si temple complex. Vejay drove us right to the top and purchased our ticket to take the ride part way down. The entire area is beautiful with many different styles of temples. It was a wonderful spot to see. Vejay was able to give us a lot of information about the culture, religion and customs of the people living in Penang. And he answered all our questions patiently and thoroughly. He took lots of pictures for us as well We also saw the reclining Buddha at the Thai temple and had a blessing by a monk at the Burmese temple. It was an excellent seeing the sights and learning a lot about the area.
